How could a warrior be wounded
By the heart that showed undenying love
I was so deluded to think this would never happen
But now my heart is wounded
Drained of all love and trust I had for you
No sympathy, no acknowledgement, no remorse
I was the warrior and you were like my faithful queen
But I feel betrayed and unable to trust you
For the very thing you have done to me
And now nothing is left for me to give you
Now I only find you a commoner
Like the many ones this warrior has loved
Forgotten, no need of this warrior's sympathy
No honor, no remorse, and certainly no acknowledgements
Like the commoner you are
I can only brush you aside and live life
Because I am the wounded warrior
Who now have already moved on
